About “WANNAMESHI”

Message from us

Greetings and konnichiwa from Japan!

Interest in Japan by countries around the world is growing at an ever faster pace.
Particularly, we would like to put the spotlight on “Washoku” traditional Japanese cuisine, which was added to UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2013, and offer a broad perspective, focusing on foreigners living in Japan and abroad.
With our eyes on the opening of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympic Games in 2020, it is our goal to let people learn more about Washoku and help everyone enjoy Japan.
Washoku is a unique cuisine with deep roots in Japan’s natural land, climate, and the four seasons, and we believe knowing more about these roots is a key element of enjoying Washoku more.

We are confident this love of Japanese cuisine will become a bridge that connects our country and the world and will foster deeper communication between people.
Please
